The overwhelming majority of protesters were peaceful throughout the day but sadly minor scuffles broke out near Downing Street afternoon, with some of the crowd shouting 'f*** Boris, f*** Trump'.

Met Police confirmed two people were arrested following the disturbance.

Police forces in the UK today issued a joint statement saying they were" appalled and horrified" by the death of Floyd.
